Dodge Hints at Personalized Charger Daytonas | Carscoops
One of the vehicles featured at Spring Fest will be adorned with matte black stripes, and it appears that they might eventually be available as an option.
Spring Fest is making a comeback after a five-year hiatus, celebrating Stellantis performance. Dodge plans to highlight customized editions of the new Charger Daytona at the event. One of these models will showcase a matte black finish with red accents and Fratzog logos.
The Spring Festival of LX returns after five years, rebranding itself as the centerpiece for all things related to Stellantis performance. This year, it will include Chargers, Challengers, Magnums, and 300s, along with Durangos, Grand Cherokees, and Ram 1500 TRXs.
While it's significant that Spring Fest is back (March 21-22, 2025), we are particularly interested in Dodge’s involvement, as they'll display customized versions of the new Charger Daytona. One version will be a black liftback featuring matte black stripes highlighted with red.
These stripes incorporate the Fratzog logo and are said to be suitable for models with both glass and steel roofs. For vehicles with glass roofs, passengers can view the Fratzog pattern through the glass.
This suggests they may be moving towards production, as Dodge mentioned, "stripes have long been a favored customization choice for muscle car enthusiasts seeking to give their vehicles a unique appearance." In fact, Mopar previously offered three different stripe kits for the Challenger.
Although LX fans may be disappointed by the absence of a V8 engine, Dodge CEO Matt McAlear noted, “California has consistently ranked as one of the top-selling states for Charger and is also the largest EV market in the U.S., with over 376,000 EV registrations last year alone—three times more than the next closest state. This presents a significant opportunity to connect with new customers and Charger fans.”
He continued, “Spring Fest is one of many customer events that allows us to engage with our owners in this area, provide them with insights about our latest products, showcase potential new customization options, and gather their direct feedback.”
Additionally, officials will facilitate roundtable discussions and customer clinics to collect opinions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote on potential future colors for the Charger, and they’d be “Plum Crazy” to overlook purple or Sassy Grass.
