Woman Escapes Death as Pickup Truck Overturns | Carscoops

This serves as an important reminder about the need for pedestrians to be cautious when near roads.

It is unclear why the woman was on the road instead of the sidewalk.

If the HR-V had not taken the impact, the female pedestrian might have been run over.

Surprisingly, the woman seems to have escaped this frightening situation without any injuries.

Sidewalks are designed to keep pedestrians safely away from vehicles on the road. However, the woman in this video does not seem to know how to properly use the sidewalk, which led to her nearly being struck by a wayward pickup truck in Brazil in late February. If she hasn’t already taken advantage of her luck by buying a lottery ticket, she should consider it.

The close call shows the woman walking around the left side of a white Honda HR-V parked on the right side of the road. At first, it appears as though she may be the driver approaching her vehicle, but she casually walks past it instead. During this, a small silver pickup truck becomes visible and is seen heading straight toward her.

However, the pickup crashes into the back of the Honda, pushing the white SUV forward while tipping the pickup onto its side before it rolls onto its roof and ends up back on its wheels. Amazingly, the woman was not struck by either vehicle. If the HR-V had not been there to absorb the impact and redirect the pickup back onto the road, the woman could have faced serious injury or death.

We are uncertain whether this was simply luck or a form of divine intervention, but hopefully, this incident serves as a wake-up call for the woman to use sidewalks whenever they are available instead of mindlessly walking along the edge of the road without being aware of her surroundings.
