      Tom Brady is following in the tradition of quarterbacks such as John Elway by engaging in car sales after his retirement.

      He is collaborating with Hertz to promote used vehicles and a giveaway for a Cadillac.

      The 2023 Cadillac XT5 that Hertz is giving away is valued at $30,000 and features Brady's signature.

      Hertz is attempting to rebound from a $2.9 billion loss in 2024 related to its investment in electric vehicles.

      Still working to recover from a challenging 2024, Hertz is taking a bold risk by partnering with Tom Brady. The renowned quarterback is now a key part of Hertz's strategy to boost used car sales in 2025. As part of this initiative, Hertz is also hosting a giveaway for a used 2023 Cadillac XT5, which will not only provide one fortunate winner with a vehicle but will also bear Brady's signature on the visor.

      Why utilize an expensive celebrity endorsement like Brady's? The significant loss of approximately $2.9 billion in 2024 might play a role in this decision. Hertz CEO Gil West mentioned that the brand has been rejuvenated by a new leadership team and a renewed strategy, clearly evidenced by moves like this one. Brady will be featured in multiple advertisements and will be central to the Cadillac giveaway.

      Regarding the giveaway vehicle, the rental company stated: "The 2023 Cadillac XT5 comes equipped with numerous entertainment and safety features, including a navigation system, power moonroof, wireless phone connectivity, emergency communication system, lane departure warning, leather upholstery, and more. This luxury SUV will also have Brady's handwritten signature on the driver's side visor."

      In promoting its used car sales, Hertz highlights that all its used vehicles undergo a 115-point inspection and come with a 12-month or 12,000-mile limited powertrain warranty.

      It’s uncertain whether he is more enthusiastic about the paycheck or the relaxed nature of this role, but he is fully committed either way.
