Thanks to various discounts, the Mach-E's base MSRP can be reduced to $28,990.

The $1,000 discount can be combined with additional incentives, such as $7,500 in lease cash.

Approximately a year ago, Ford launched a similar promotion that included a $1,500 discount for Tesla owners.

Other manufacturers, including BMW and Kia, have also targeted Tesla drivers with conquest deals.

Recently, after Polestar announced a bonus of an additional $5,000 on top of a $15,000 discount for existing Tesla owners or lessees purchasing a Polestar 3, Ford informed its dealers of its own discount specifically aimed at Tesla owners. While Ford's offer is limited to $1,000, it might still persuade some to switch to a Mustang Mach-E.

The Tesla Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash offer is valid across the US for all variants of the 2025 Mustang Mach-E until March 31. To avail of this discount, buyers must demonstrate current ownership or leasing of a Tesla for at least 30 days. There are additional incentives that make the Mach-E appealing.

The all-electric SUV also includes $7,500 in lease cash, and both buyers and lessees can benefit from free home charger installation. For those who already have charging set up at home, Ford provides a $1,000 public charging credit instead, as reported by Cars Direct. When all these incentives are combined, the lease price on a Mach-E Select can fall from $38,490 to just $28,990.

This isn’t Ford’s first attempt to attract Tesla owners. Last April, it offered a $1,500 discount that could be combined with other incentives. Numerous brands have adopted a similar approach. For instance, BMW has extended conquest bonuses to owners of varying brands, including Tesla, while Kia has offered up to $1,500 to encourage Tesla drivers to consider its EVs.

It remains to be seen how many individuals will opt to trade in their Tesla for a Mach-E as a result of this latest push for incentives. However, Tesla sales have slowed in several markets this year, possibly due to growing negative sentiment towards Elon Musk, making it unsurprising that Ford has chosen this moment to revive its conquest bonus.
