Honda has unveiled the 2025 Prologue, which boasts enhanced power and range.

It generates up to 300 hp and can cover up to 308 miles on a single charge.

The Prologue emerged as the best-selling non-Tesla EV in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The Honda Prologue exceeded expectations, with customers purchasing 33,017 units last year. However, prospective buyers may want to wait as the company has announced several enhancements for the 2025 version.

Though Honda has been vague with details, they confirmed that the entry-level front-wheel-drive model now has an EPA-rated range of 308 miles, an increase of 12 miles. The battery capacity remains unchanged at 85 kWh.

The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants also experience an increase in range, with the EX and Touring trims now able to travel 294 miles, which is 13 miles more than before. The top-tier Prologue Elite sees a smaller increase of 10 miles to a total of 283 miles.

The added range is certainly appreciated, but the enhancements don't end there. In fact, front-wheel-drive models now feature a more robust motor, producing 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, marking an increase of 8 hp and 7 lb-ft.

The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants have also received upgrades, generating 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque, which translates to gains of 12 hp and 25 lb-ft.

Notably, these upgraded outputs align with the figures from the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV. However, there is no Prologue Type R available with the SS’s 615 hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup.

Despite these improvements, pricing remains consistent, starting at $47,400 for the electric crossover. However, the destination fee has increased from $1,395 to $1,450. On the positive side, all 2025 Prologues are eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit.
