As per the tuner, the enhancements enable the compact SUV to navigate through sand, snow, and dirt.
Delta4x4 has introduced a modified Mini Countryman in partnership with X-raid.
This SUV features a new set of wheels equipped with all-terrain tires, along with a lift kit.
This model serves as an upgrade to the earlier Mini Countryman Powered by X-Raid.
Reports suggest that Mini is developing a rugged version of the Countryman, but until that is revealed, Delta4x4 has provided an alternative that brings a more adventurous spirit to the compact SUV.
The new model builds upon the previous Mini Countryman Powered by X-Raid, which was unveiled in 2020, featuring similar aesthetic and chassis enhancements.
The tuning package was crafted by off-road expert Delta4x4 in collaboration with the six-time Dakar-winning team X-Raid. Delta4x4 has a history with Mini, having participated in cross-country competitions with vehicles like the Mini All4 Racing, John Cooper Works Rally, and John Cooper Works Buggy.
The new Mini Countryman X-Raid is fitted with 18-inch Klassik-B Rugged wheels paired with robust all-terrain tires from Loder. This setup is complemented by an SDK lift kit, which boosts ground clearance by 20 mm (0.8 inches). As a result, the upgraded Countryman stands nearly 40 mm (1.6 inches) taller than the standard version.
According to Delta4x4, these modifications enable the Countryman to handle snowy, sandy, and uneven terrains.
To complete the appearance, the body has been adorned with orange decals from X-raid to establish a motorsport connection. While Delta4x4 didn’t equip the Mini with additional LEDs, a bull bar, or a roof rack, there are likely many options available in their catalog for interested customers.
Although specifics weren't provided, it's likely that the kit is compatible with all internal combustion engine and electric versions of the third-generation Mini Countryman. However, those with the mild-hybrid turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine and all-wheel drive are the most suitable for these upgrades.
Delta4x4 has yet to disclose pricing details for the enhancements. However, the SDK lift kit for the previous generation Mini Countryman is priced at €666.40 ($700), while the wheels are expected to cost approximately €3,000 ($3,100).
