New Acura ADX Compact SUV Priced Between $35,000 and $44,000 | Carscoops
The new ADX compact SUV is priced significantly lower than many rivals, such as the BMW X1 and Lexus UX.
The 2025 Acura ADX is set to launch this spring, starting at $35,000.
It comes well-equipped, featuring heated seats, a sunroof, and a phone charger. The prices increase quickly, with the highest AWD model priced at $44,000.
For years, there has been a notable absence in the Acura lineup, but the company is finally addressing it with a new entry-level crossover named the ADX, arriving this spring at a starting price of $35,000.
The ADX costs thousands less than competitors like the Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Lexus UX, aiming to draw in a younger crowd, particularly Millennials and Gen Z. Acura intends to achieve this through “youthful styling, premium features, and an enjoyable driving experience at an affordable price.”
The ADX features a bold design with a prominent Diamond Pentagon grille and slim headlights. Additional features include a moonroof, a power liftgate, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, it showcases a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Although the interior leans more towards Honda than Acura, it is well-appointed with heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, and an eight-speaker audio system.
The mid-tier ADX A-Spec starts at $38,000 and includes gloss black accents and Gun Metallic highlights, as well as LED fog lights and larger 19-inch wheels.
Interior enhancements feature heated and ventilated front seats covered in Ultrasuede, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a panoramic moonroof, LED ambient lighting, and red contrast stitching. Other notable features consist of a four-way power front passenger seat, stainless steel pedals, a chrome shift knob, and a cargo cover.
The top-tier ADX A-Spec with the Advance Package begins at $42,000 and offers a slightly updated exterior with gloss black mirrors, black 19-inch wheels, and rain-sensing wipers. Interior upgrades include a heated steering wheel, a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, and Google built-in with a complimentary three-year unlimited data plan. Additional features comprise front and rear parking sensors, remote engine start, and a drive mode selector with customizable settings.
While Acura has yet to disclose performance details, they confirmed that the compact crossover will be equipped with a “turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC engine similar to the DOHC 1.5T found in the Integra.” This engine generates 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque in the liftback variant.
No matter the output, the engine will be paired with a sport-tuned continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive can be added for an additional $2,000.
