The son of former Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan is facing drug possession and DUI charges following an incident where he crashed a Lamborghini and ended up on train tracks.

Marcus Jordan allegedly drove drunk onto the tracks and requested assistance from officers to move the vehicle back to the road. He frequently mentioned his famous father during the encounter and claimed he was the subject of ambiguous attacks.

Law enforcement never knows what to expect on a daily basis, but the situation faced by officers in Florida recently must have been particularly unusual. They attempted to pull over a blue Lamborghini Urus, but the driver fled the scene. When they eventually located the luxury SUV and driver, they found him trapped deep in the gravel on train tracks. To complicate matters, the driver seemed to think that being the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan would afford him some leniency.

The driver was identified as Marcus Jordan, who, as shown in the linked video, made several references to his well-known father during and after his arrest for DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest. Before jumping ahead, it’s essential to outline some details from reports.

According to reports, Seminole County deputies were already on the lookout for the blue Lamborghini after it reportedly evaded a traffic stop. Shortly afterward, the Maitland Police Department spotted a similar SUV embedded in gravel on a set of nearby train tracks. Upon interacting with the driver, he explained that he had taken a wrong turn and needed assistance getting the car off the tracks, claiming to be "directionally challenged."

It turned out that the driver was Marcus Jordan. Police concluded he was impaired, found cocaine in his possession, and arrested him. The entire exchange was recorded on video.

It’s fair to say that few individuals would pass a direction test while under the influence. Who among us hasn't experienced some level of direction confusion while celebrating? His logic behind taking the train tracks might have seemed clever to him at the time.

If the tracks are sturdy enough for a train, why wouldn’t they accommodate a heavy Lamborghini? Furthermore, the tracks provided a way to avoid most road traffic. One could argue that he was trying to play it safe by steering clear of other vehicles!

Authorities have yet to identify the owner of the Lamborghini or how it was removed from the tracks. What is evident is that Marcus Jordan is now facing charges of DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest. His next court date has not been disclosed, but it will undoubtedly be a different experience than the courts his father once ruled.
