The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S features a new, lower starting price for the Limited trim, but it comes with reduced power and fewer amenities.

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S EV introduces a new “Limited” trim alongside the Launch Edition.

While the Wagoneer S Limited is less expensive, it delivers less power than the Launch Edition, offering only 500 hp.

Owners have the option to unlock the full performance of the Wagoneer S Limited through an OTA upgrade.

The all-electric 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S now includes a more budget-friendly entry-level option. The “Limited” trim makes its debut at this week’s Chicago Motor Show, providing a savings of $5,000 compared to last year’s Launch Edition. The starting price is $66,995 (which includes the $1,795 destination fee), a drop from the Launch Edition’s $71,995 price with delivery. However, it's important to mention that a $3,000 discount is currently available for the Launch Edition until March.

Previously, the Wagoneer S could only be purchased in the fully equipped Launch Edition, which featured a 600-hp electric motor, a McIntosh 1,200-watt sound system, and a large touchscreen infotainment system. Now, with the Limited trim’s introduction, Jeep is adopting a more customizable approach, providing fewer standard features in return for a lower price.

The new Limited version of the Wagoneer moves many of those premium features to the optional extras list, including the Launch Edition’s notable 600 hp output. Although the entry-level Limited model shares the same mechanical components, such as dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, the full 600 hp is accessible only by paying an undisclosed amount for an “Over The Air” upgrade called the Propulsion Boost Package. Consequently, the Launch Edition's 3.4-second 0–60 mph time will be slower for the Limited model, which Jeep estimates will achieve “under four seconds."

What Do You Lose (and Gain) with the Limited?

While the McIntosh audio system and front passenger screen are optional on the Limited, there is a new Hydro Blue exterior paint and an Arctic Grey interior option available. Included standard features are a dual-pane sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, 10-way heated seats, and over 170 safety features. As expected from a Jeep, the vehicle benefits from the Selec-Terrain 4xe traction management system, which offers different settings for varying conditions.

No range specifics were provided, but given the Limited model’s lower power output, it’s reasonable to expect that it might achieve a few additional miles beyond the Launch Edition’s 300-mile range. The Wagoneer S can be charged from 20–80 percent in 23 minutes with a DC fast charger, and every model will be accompanied by either a 48-volt Level 2 home charger or public charge credits from Stellantis’ Free2move network.

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is now available for online ordering and is set to arrive at Jeep dealerships across North America shortly, with a starting MSRP of $66,995 (including a $1,795 destination fee). The 2025 Wagoneer S is also eligible for the Inflation Reduction Act lease EV credits ($7,500 for retail and lease purchases).
