The RTR series of modified Fords, created by expert drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr., has grown over the years. These modifications are now available for off-road models like the Bronco.

Dubbed the Bronco RTR, the modification package starts at $18,185 for 2025 (the price for 2026 is still to be determined, but 2026 Broncos are currently for sale as it’s New Year’s Eve), and is mainly a design refresh. Performance enhancements are somewhat limited and depend on the specific Bronco being modified. However, as our colleague Jeff Glucker from Motor1 discovered, attention to detail may not be prioritized.

During the holiday season, Glucker is testing a Bronco RTR. The model he tested included the $1,999.99 RTR Leather Interior package, which reportedly adds two-tone full-grain leather seating in the front and back, complete with a debossed RTR logo on the front seats. Unfortunately, the individual who covered the interior in leather for the Bronco Glucker evaluated neglected to account for the cup holders on the rear-seat fold-down armrest. Oops!

This situation is almost unbelievable, and without an Instagram reel to prove it, one might doubt such an oversight could occur. Glucker, ever the dedicated professional, shared proof of the issue.

Gittin Jr responded to the post, stating, “I love that you enjoyed the RTR ROVR! Your presentation of this issue made me laugh. I agree with you…… CRAZY! Clearly, someone overlooked the step of reinstalling the cup holders. Thank you for bringing this to our attention—this won’t happen again!”

This is clearly not something one would call “to spec” or intentional, based on Gittin Jr’s comments. It’s uncertain if any Bronco RTRs affected by this issue have reached customers or if this is an isolated incident.

Regardless, it appears that Gittin Jr is managing the situation well, maintaining a sense of humor about it and presumably taking steps to prevent similar occurrences in future Bronco RTRs.
