      Watches and cars pair together like peanut butter and jelly. I've been trying to avoid getting into watch collecting as I don’t want another costly hobby, but I stumbled upon some fantastic Black Friday deals on stylish chronographs. I even found one for just under $80!

      We have several tiers of brands represented here, starting with the more affordable options. Fossil won’t impress watch enthusiasts, but it offers some really attractive designs, and the value at these sale prices is excellent. I had a Fossil watch that I wore daily for years until I misplaced it during a move. I particularly enjoy the knurling and color on the Machine Chronograph—it resembles an automotive gauge cluster without being overly cheesy. The Coachman has a distinctive, somewhat rugged style that I also appreciate, and it's priced like a toy from Walmart.

      Citizen is a much higher-end brand, and it currently features a beautiful Brycen EcoDrive chronograph on sale. There’s also an older black-face model available at a discount.

      If you’re willing to invest a bit more, the Bulova Lunar Pilot is available for under $400 with Black Friday pricing.

      Lastly, one of my all-time favorite chronographs under $1,000, the Seiko SSC947 Prospex Speedtimer, isn't on sale just yet, but I've heard it may be discounted at some point during this shopping season, so keep an eye out. Honestly, even if it doesn’t go on sale, it’s an outstanding watch!
