The G70 Prestige Graphite will evoke feelings of blue with its distinctive paint and exclusive Nappa leather.

Genesis has unveiled the new G70 Prestige Graphite in Los Angeles, showcasing a one-of-a-kind paint and special Ultramarine Blue Nappa leather. This model starts at $56,900 and is equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 365 hp.

Though the G70 isn’t widely known in the automotive world, Genesis hasn’t overlooked its competitor to the BMW 3-Series. In fact, they’ve utilized the Los Angeles Auto Show to present the new G70 Prestige Graphite.

Tailored specifically for North America, this model is promoted as an "exclusive new trim" that merges "bold design elements with an elevated driving experience."

Starting with the exterior, this sports sedan features a unique Ceres Blue (or Vatna Gray) finish, complemented by black mirror caps and dark chrome accents. The design includes a power trunk and dark 19-inch wheels paired with black Brembo brake calipers.

If you’re having difficulty discerning the new color and wheels, you're not alone. Genesis released only one unclear, low-resolution image of the vehicle taken from a distance, seemingly encouraging a lack of close scrutiny.

The vibrant design continues inside, where Genesis took better care in photographing the cabin. It includes exclusive Ultramarine Blue Nappa leather with contrasting orange accents. The elegant seats are supported by a microfiber suede headliner, orange seat belts, and a 12.3-inch 3D digital instrument cluster.

Prospective buyers can also look forward to heated and ventilated front seats, alongside a heated steering wheel. Additional features may include alloy pedals, aluminum trim, and a sunroof, along with a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 15-speaker Lexicon premium audio system.

The vehicle is powered by a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 engine generating 365 hp (272 kW / 370 PS) and 376 lb-ft (509 Nm) of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that can be configured for either rear- or all-wheel drive.

In terms of performance, the G70 comes with an electronically controlled sport suspension, offering a 0.4-inch (10 mm) lower ride height for "improved handling and stability."

Although Genesis has not announced when the model will be available at dealerships, pricing starts at $56,900 plus a $1,395 destination fee. The all-wheel-drive version is priced at $58,900.

This represents a $3,300 increase over the current Sport Prestige trim, which is quite considerable, but exclusivity often has a price.
