This RX-7, mirroring Han's car from the film, comes with an authentic VeilSide bodykit. It boasts a 1.3-liter turbo rotary engine that has been upgraded to operate with a tuned Haltech ECU. The interior now includes a Haltech digital dashboard, an infotainment system, and carbon fiber accents.

The long-standing Fast & Furious series has experienced its share of highs and lows, but for car enthusiasts, the 2006 film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift stands out. It wasn't merely another sequel but a movie that established many Japanese performance cars as cultural symbols, with the Mazda RX-7 being the most notable.

In the film, Han drove a heavily modified RX-7 featuring a VeilSide bodykit and a striking orange and black color scheme. Although it resembled more of a European supercar than the original, it undoubtedly became one of the film's highlights.

Next month, a replica of Han’s RX-7 will go up for auction, sure to spark conversations among Fast & Furious fans.

Mecum Auctions is overseeing the car's sale and confirms that it’s outfitted with a real VeilSide Fortune bodykit. The 1.3-liter turbocharged rotary engine has been entirely rebuilt, featuring an equal-length lower intake manifold, an upgraded BorgWarner turbocharger, a Haltech ECU, an enhanced fuel system, and a new Greddy intercooler.

While the power output hasn’t been revealed, it can be assumed there's ample power ready to engage the rear tires.

This Mazda is equipped with custom BC Forged three-piece wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. It benefits from coilover suspension, upgraded brakes with stainless steel lines, and a MagnaFlow midpipe paired with an aftermarket exhaust system.

The interior has also seen some improvements. Besides the Haltech digital dashboard, it includes a new double-DIN infotainment system, carbon fiber trim on the center console, and a new shift knob. The speakers have been upgraded, allowing the next owner to enjoy the Tokyo Drift soundtrack while driving if they choose.

Whether you are seeking nostalgia or wish to appear impressively cool at a stoplight, this RX-7 has what it takes. Visit the Mecum listing to see if your budget and parking space are prepared for Han's legacy to be revived.
