Volvo’s Preferred Tuner Has Now Entered the Electric Vehicle Market in China | Carscoops
Heico Sportiv has taken on the task of tuning Lynk & Co vehicles, which, like Volvo, are part of the Geely group.
Recently, Heico Sportiv unveiled a tuning package for the Lynk & Co 02, featuring a mild aerodynamic kit, 21-inch wheels, and lowering springs. These enhancements can be purchased directly from Lynk & Co's dealerships across Europe.
Reflecting current trends, Heico Sportiv, the German tuner historically associated with Volvo, has expanded its offerings to include another brand under the Geely umbrella. The company now provides customized upgrades for Lynk & Co's SUV lineup, including the models 01, 02, and 08, in Europe.
Of note is the Lynk & Co 02, a stylish compact SUV equipped with an electric powertrain that debuted in 2024. Heico Sportiv has installed 21-inch Volution alloy wheels with a ten-spoke design, which are an inch larger than the top-tier factory option. These wheels can be chosen in gloss black, matte titanium, or matte gold bronze, each available in standard or diamond-cut finishes.
The new wheels are combined with sport springs, lowering the vehicle by 35 mm (1.4 inches). This more aggressive look is enhanced by discreet aerodynamic elements focused on the lower bodywork.
The kit consists of a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear bumper extension, all finished in a body-color that contrasts with the glossy black accents of the electric vehicle. The tuner did not include a rear spoiler, maintaining the coupe-style roofline and the full-width LED taillights.
The Lynk & Co 02 shares its mechanical components with the Volvo EX30 and Zeekr X. It utilizes Geely's SEA platform, featuring a rear-mounted electric motor that generates 268 hp (200 kW / 272 PS) and a 66 kWh battery pack. Heico Sportiv is not offering any performance enhancements, so the EV retains its 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration in 5.5 seconds and a maximum speed limited to 112 mph (180 km/h).
Heico Sportiv stated that its products will be available through Lynk & Co's European distribution network, ensuring comprehensive warranty protection.
Pricing details indicate that the 21-inch wheels are priced between €2,400-3,560 ($2,800-4,100) depending on the finish selected. The sport springs are priced at €390 ($450), while the spacers add another €335 ($390). Pricing for the aerodynamic components has not yet been released, but elegant velour floor mats are available for €185 ($215).
The modified Lynk & Co 02 will make its public debut at the Auto Zurich show in Switzerland on October 30. At the same event, Heico Sportiv will also showcase a Volvo XC60 T8 with a body kit, lowered suspension, sports exhaust, upgraded engine, enhanced brakes, and 22-inch wheels, in addition to a Polestar 4, which will feature the same wheels and an Aubergine Bronze wrap.
Additionally, the company has released images of a modified Lynk & Co 01 in both EV and PHEV forms with similar styling and chassis modifications. Details regarding accessories for the larger Lynk & Co 08 PHEV will be announced at a later date.
