This pristine 1996 Mustang SVT Cobra has only 2,530 miles on the odometer since it was first purchased.

It has been kept in a climate-controlled garage and has recently undergone full servicing.

It still boasts its 305 hp 4.6-liter V8, a defining feature of Ford’s muscle car era in the '90s.

Every now and then, amidst the dented Nissan and Toyota sedans, questionable "too good to be true" offers, and dubious resales on Facebook Marketplace, something truly noteworthy catches your eye. It’s the sort of car that makes you pause, especially since you might have previously dismissed Mark Zuckerberg's platform as a graveyard for poor ideas and even worse vehicles.

That’s exactly what we have here, as this 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra has accumulated just 2,530 miles (4,071 km) since it was new and is as flawless as any SN95 Mustang you’re likely to come across.

      Preserved Like a Time Capsule

The iconic muscle car is available for sale in Fort Myers, Florida, and according to the seller, it has been stored in a climate-controlled garage since new, which likely contributes to its excellent condition. Admittedly, the $30,000 asking price is nearly on par with a brand new Mustang EcoBoost, but there’s an undeniable charm to this Cobra that a new model simply cannot replicate.

Ford is thought to have produced over 28,000 Mustang Cobra models from 1996 to 1998, so it's not particularly rare, with this one being #1,595 out of 7,459 manufactured in 1996.

However, equipped with a 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 delivering 305 hp and 300 lb-ft (410 Nm) of torque, it can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.9 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 13.99 seconds. Those numbers remain impressive today, even in an era of muscle cars boasting over 800 hp.

The seller highlights that the car comes with all original documentation and receipts. It has also recently had its fluids changed and new tires fitted. While the exterior is free of imperfections, the interior appears to be in excellent shape with minimal visible wear, except for a few creases on the seats.

A glance at the window sticker included with the sale shows that its original MSRP was $26,645, which translates to about $55,018 in today’s currency, similar to a modern Mustang GT Premium.
