The 2026 CX-30 has a starting price of $25,975, reflecting an increase of nearly $800.

Mazda has unveiled the 2026 CX-30, which introduces two new Aire Editions featuring black exterior accents and white leatherette seats with gray inserts. Several models receive additional features, including a larger display.

While the Mazda CX-30 is beginning to show its age, the company is updating it with several modifications for 2026. Unfortunately, these enhancements raise the starting price from $25,195 to $25,975.

So, what does the additional $780 offer? It provides a better-equipped CX-30 2.5 S, which now comes standard with a limited slip differential for improved traction. The crossover also has updated dampers that promise a more comfortable ride.

      Added Comfort and Technology

Stepping up the trim ladder, the $27,660 CX-30 2.5 S Select Sport is significantly better equipped for 2026. It now includes heated leatherette front seats with eight-way power adjustment for the driver. Additionally, this model gains wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as side mirrors now featuring a memory and reverse tilt function.

The $29,290 CX-30 2.5 S Preferred replaces its old 8.8-inch infotainment system with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen. A new wireless smartphone charger is also included.

      A New Aire of Style

A major highlight for 2026 is the all-new CX-30 2.5 S Aire Edition, which starts at $29,850. Based on the Preferred model, this version has a subtly revised exterior with gloss black badges, black roof rails, and black mirror caps, complemented by 18-inch black-finished wheels.

Inside, the design takes a different approach, featuring white leatherette seats with gray cloth inserts, light gray contrast stitching, and gray suede-like interior trims.

The 2026 CX-30 2.5 S Carbon Edition appears to remain unchanged, while the 2.5 S Premium now includes a heated steering wheel and a 360° View Monitor.

All the mentioned models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 186 hp (139 kW / 189 PS) and 186 lb-ft (252 Nm) of torque. This engine pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

Customers can also choose a turbocharged engine, though the range has been reduced. The 2.5 Carbon Turbo and 2.5 Premium Turbo have been replaced by the new Turbo Aire Edition, starting at $34,410, which requires an extra $1,270 for the 2.5-liter turbo engine that produces up to 250 hp (186 kW / 253 PS) and 320 lb-ft (433 Nm) of torque. Aside from that, it seems to be similar to the more affordable Aire variant.

Lastly, the top-tier CX-30 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus starts at $37,900, marking a $750 increase, with the only change appearing to be new gloss black badging.
