The hand-painted Milky Way headliner took over 160 hours of meticulous effort.

The custom Cullinan Cosmos interior highlights star motifs and celestial designs.

Its twin-turbo V12 engine generates 563 hp, combined with all-wheel drive and eight-speed transmission.

Rolls-Royce’s Starlight Headliner has become quite popular, but one customer took the concept to an extreme. The result is the unique Cullinan Cosmos, marking the brand’s first vehicle to feature a hand-painted headliner.

The client, along with their four-year-old son, had a fascination with space and desired something that would "capture the essence of the cosmos." The outcome is this breathtaking representation of the Milky Way.

Rolls-Royce reported that the headliner was painted entirely freehand by one of their in-house artists and required over 160 hours to complete. The intricate “luminous cloud formations” demanded “more than 20 successive applications of acrylic paint, utilizing various brushes to build depth and dimension.”

In addition to the striking ceiling, the ultra-luxury crossover features Charles Blue and Grace White leather seats accented with contrasting stitching and piping. The interior also includes a distinctive star cluster motif on the door panels and headrests, along with a hand-painted design on the front passenger fascia. Additionally, illuminated door sill plates reading “Cullinan Cosmos One of One” and Piano White trim that “reflects the high-gloss surfaces of satellite casings” can also be seen.

      Celestial Exterior Features

In contrast, the exterior appears relatively understated but boasts an Arabescato Pearl paint that mimics the “gentle sheen of moonlight across a midnight sky.” The model features a subtle Charles Blue twin coachline and an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy that “shines like a distant star.”

      V12 Engine Beneath the Craftsmanship

Since this custom commission is based on the Cullinan Series II, it is equipped with a twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 engine generating 563 hp (420 kW / 571 PS) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system.
