      Retail powerhouse Costco is promoting a limited-time offer for members interested in certified Volvos. Gold Star and Business members are eligible for a $1,000 discount on qualifying used vehicles. Models included in this offer are the Volvo EX30, EX90, XC90, and C40.

      If you're looking to purchase a Volvo but wish to avoid the stress of visiting a dealership and bargaining with sales personnel, Costco might be the solution. From September 2 until October 31, eligible Costco members can benefit from an incentive of up to $1,250 when buying a certified pre-owned Volvo model.

      Costco has introduced this incentive to tackle the challenges of limited inventory and escalating prices in the used vehicle market. The Costco Auto Program simplifies the car-buying process as Costco handles negotiations on behalf of the members, ensuring they secure the best possible deal.

      With this offer, Gold Star and Business members can enjoy a $1,000 discount, while Executive Members will receive a notable $1,250 discount. A variety of Certified by Volvo models from 2022 to 2025.5 are eligible, including the all-electric EX30 and EX90, along with the newest XC90. The C40 is also part of the eligible vehicles.

      “In the current market, where used vehicle prices are high and inventory is low, the Costco Auto Program’s Certified by Volvo Limited-Time Special provides significant value,” stated Jay Maxwell, general manager of the Costco Auto Program. “Moreover, members can have peace of mind knowing these cars come with extended warranty coverage, a 170+ point inspection, roadside assistance, and for EV and plug-in hybrid models, an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty.”

      Each Certified by Volvo model must pass a 170-point inspection and have fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer. Though this checklist may seem extensive, most certification programs in the industry follow a similar testing process. Additionally, buyers receive a Carfax report and a one-year, unlimited-mile warranty.
