GMC has unveiled the 2026 Acadia Denali Ultimate as their premier crossover vehicle.
It showcases a slightly updated exterior complete with a Vader Chrome grille and 22-inch wheels.
Inside, it boasts Woodland Mahogany leather seating and laser-etched wood accents.
The Denali sub-brand has proven very popular for GMC, with over 30% of buyers selecting this top-tier trim. This success has led the brand to launch an even more exclusive Denali Ultimate.
Traditionally associated with the Sierra 1500 and Yukon, the Denali Ultimate trim is now available for the 2026 Acadia. It builds on the standard Denali model, featuring a distinctive exterior with a Vader Chrome grille and 22-inch aluminum wheels finished in After Midnight metallic. Buyers will also notice special badging, a Vader Chrome GMC logo, and LED daytime running lights with an animated lighting feature.
The Acadia's exterior is somewhat understated, while the interior impresses with Woodland Mahogany leather front seats that have topographical details and braided contrast stitching. These are complemented by black accents and prominent Ultimate badging on the backrests. Additionally, the seats are heated, ventilated, and equipped with a massage function.
The topographical details continue into the laser-etched Paldao wood trim and door panels. Customers will also enjoy unique floor mats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 16-speaker Bose premium audio system. Other features include Super Cruise, an 8-inch heads-up display, a power liftgate, and a performance suspension that offers an “exceptional ride and handling balance.”
GMC has not disclosed powertrain specifics, but the model is expected to have a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 328 hp (245 kW / 333 PS) and 326 lb-ft (442 Nm) of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an optional all-wheel drive system.
In addition to the new Denali Ultimate, the 2026 GMC Acadia will now come with a standard rear camera mirror, allowing drivers to switch between a traditional and a digital rearview mirror easily.
The 2026 Acadia is set to arrive at dealerships in the third quarter, with the Denali Ultimate to follow later in the year. Pricing details have yet to be announced, but a modest increase over the current base price of $43,000, plus a $1,495 destination fee, is expected.
