Cupra will unveil a new concept at the Munich Motor Show that suggests its future direction.
The brand has teased a mysterious model that will showcase its upcoming design style.
Additionally, Cupra will present a camouflaged version of the Raval along with new special editions.
With the Munich Motor Show less than two months away, Cupra aims to make a significant impression. They will unveil the camouflaged Raval on September 7th and the new concept on September 8th.
While details are scarce, Cupra has stated that the enigmatic concept reflects their “brand vision and future design language.” They described it as the “perfect symbiosis between human and machine, where the driving experience and emotions reach their fullest expression.”
Despite the marketing hype, a teaser video reveals a futuristic center console featuring a flowing metal band, minimalist switches, and an illuminated diamond-like element. We also catch a glimpse of diamond-shaped ribbed accents and a triangle made from either crystal or glass.
In contrast, the Raval will be a production model displayed in camouflage. Spy photographers captured images of the electric hatchback last month; it is a sibling to the Volkswagen ID.2. It is expected to utilize the new MEB Entry platform, with Volkswagen indicating a version that offers 223 hp (166 kW / 226 PS) and a range of up to 280 miles (450 km). As the ID.2 is anticipated to have GTI and R versions, hotter variants of the Raval may also be expected.
Production of the Raval is set to begin next year at the Martorell assembly plant, which is a slight delay from its initial projected release in 2025.
Lastly, Cupra revealed plans to launch Tribe Editions of the Formentor, Terramar, and Leon / Leon Sportstourer. These special editions are marketed to customers "seeking uniqueness and differentiation with a contemporary, sustainable twist."
