This Lamborghini Murcielago is equipped with a peculiar aftermarket exhaust.
Under the hood, the supercar boasts the brand’s 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine.
Its 6-speed gated manual transmission definitely enhances its appeal.
About 15 years ago, I spotted a black Ferrari 575 with six tailpipes cruising through Melbourne, and it has since stood out as one of the most unusual exhaust configurations I have encountered. Yet, this 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago available in the US presents an even stranger exhaust that resembles an odd frog. It's so divergent from the supercar's overall design that I cannot help but keep looking at it.

Older Murcielago models are currently experiencing a resurgence. This was the last V12-powered vehicle from the Italian marque featuring a six-speed manual gearbox, as both the Aventador and Revuelto replaced the manual transmission with automatics.
When the Murcielago was launched, the e-gear automated single-clutch manual generated much enthusiasm, but over time, the true manual versions have become the most sought-after.
This particular car is listed for sale in California and is a pre-facelift model with approximately 35,000 miles (around 56,000 km) on the odometer. The seller acquired it in 2020 and has driven it nearly 2,000 miles (about 3,200 km) since then. Aside from the unique aftermarket exhaust, it remains in excellent condition.
The exterior boasts a stunning dark green hue known as Verde Hydra, one of the rarer and more elegant colors that Lamborghini offers. The car still sits on its original 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires.
The beautiful gated shifter is undoubtedly the centerpiece of the cabin, but there is much more to appreciate inside, including the cream-colored leather found on the seats, transmission tunnel, door panels, and the lower portion of the dashboard. Although the car is equipped with an aftermarket Pioneer head unit, nothing can compare to the sound of the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V12 located behind the passenger compartment.
