The MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Ago commemorates Giacomo Agostini’s 83rd birthday.

      It is powered by a high-revving 1.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 208 hp and 86 lb-ft of torque.

Each bike comes with a distinctive key that includes a brass coin created from an Imola race trophy won by Agostini.

There are motorcycles, and then there are masterpieces on wheels that happen to be incredibly fast. Italy has always excelled in creating the latter, and MV Agusta continues to showcase the fusion of style and speed with its latest model.

MV Agusta, along with fellow Italian manufacturer Ducati, has a rich history of crafting some of the most aesthetically pleasing bikes ever to hit the roads. Therefore, it’s no surprise that their new model is a visual masterpiece. Named the Superveloce 1000 Ago, this limited-edition bike is limited to just 83 units globally and comes with a hefty price of €83,000, approximately $95,400 at current exchange rates.

A Tribute to a Racing Icon

This exclusive version of the Superveloce 1000 honors Giacomo Agostini, one of the most celebrated motorcycle racers ever, with 15 world titles and 18 Italian Championship titles to his credit. This year marks his 83rd birthday, making it appropriate for MV Agusta to limit production to 83 units, with each bike featuring a numbered 18k gold plaque.

The bike's stunning bodywork, crafted from lightweight carbon fiber, is adorned in Fire Red Matt and Magnum Silver Matt, inspired by Agostini’s vintage racing bike. Additionally, each bike showcases a yellow number '1' roundel on the side, accompanied by a matching yellow CNC-machined headlight trim.

The special features don’t end there. The seat is upholstered in black Alcantara with Agostini’s name and racing stripes embroidered on it, complemented by a distinctive leather strap over the gas tank. CNC-machined levers, carbon fiber heel guards, and striking silver wheels enhance the bike's visual appeal.

      Details, Power, and Performance

Adding a layer of storytelling, each Superveloce 1000 Ago is presented with a special key that incorporates a brass coin made from parts of the trophy Agostini earned at Imola. As for powertrain details,

Beneath the eye-catching fairings lies a 1,000cc four-cylinder engine that generates 208 hp at 13,000 rpm and 86 lb-ft (117 Nm) of torque at 11,000 rpm. The bike also includes an eight-level traction control system, four riding modes, a quickshifter for the six-speed transmission, and a robust braking system. Additionally, it features electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension both at the front and rear.

Furthermore, each MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Ago comes with a custom Dainese leather racing suit and a limited-edition AGV Pista GP RR helmet, provided at no additional cost, although it can be argued that with this price, you're paying for them in one way or another.
