Here's How to Transform Kia's New Pickup into an Authentic Off-Road Beast | Carscoops
Off-road specialist ARB intends to introduce a variety of products for the Kia Tasman.
On June 18, 2025, at 19:52, Thanos Pappas reported that ARB has provided a preview of several forthcoming accessories designed for the Kia Tasman pickup.
The enhancements feature bull bars, roof racks, wheels, LEDs, and customized bed options.
Kia has also demonstrated the potential of the Tasman with its own line of accessories.
Since its reveal, Kia’s Tasman has generated a buzz in the pickup community, largely due to its divisive design. As the midsize truck prepares for its launch in the Australian market next month, local tuner ARB has shared renderings highlighting aftermarket accessories aimed at enhancing its off-road performance and overall utility.
The company has presented two styles of off-road bumpers for the Tasman, each equipped with sturdy skid plates and recovery points. One bumper includes a robust bull bar that extends around the front fenders and side steps, perfect for those daring enough to encounter wildlife (just kidding—don’t do that).
Additionally, recognizing that no off-road enthusiast can have too many lights, these accessories facilitate the installation of extra LED lights on the front and roof—essential for navigating the challenging Australian outback after dark.
Practical Enhancements for the Explorer
Further features comprise a roof rack and a bed cover. For adventurers looking to enhance their vehicle’s functionality, ARB plans to provide various options for the tray and canopy. An enclosed cargo area is ideal for transporting tools or overlanding gear and will be available in multiple sizes. For dedicated adventurers, a custom bed section can be selected, accommodating a second full-size spare, a foldable ladder, and an additional roof rack.
The images depict the Tasman outfitted with a new set of beadlock wheels and rugged all-terrain tires. It appears ARB has also increased its height, making the truck significantly taller than the standard model. Given that ARB already supplies suspension upgrades for a range of vehicles, it seems likely they will do the same for Kia’s latest pickup.
ARB noted that the renders “don’t just illustrate potential but also suggest what’s forthcoming,” indicating that a selection of products for the Kia Tasman will be available soon.
Kia’s Own Aftermarket Initiatives
Kia is capitalizing on the aftermarket prospects of the Tasman by providing various optional accessories straight from the factory. This range includes roof racks, sports bars, bull bars, off-road bumpers, fender extensions, and even a snorkel. There are also multiple canopy designs and rear bed accessories, catering to nearly every type of Tasman user, from weekend warriors to professional off-roaders.
The automaker hinted at a rugged version of the truck with the Tasman Weekender concept, which could compete with the Ford Ranger Raptor. Furthermore, Kia officials recently indicated that the Tasman will continue to evolve over its lifespan, with possible additions of hybrid and electric powertrains alongside the current combustion engines.
According to Australian media outlet CarSales, the Tasman might emerge as Kia’s best-selling model in the region, with annual sales estimates nearing 20,000 units, accounting for about a quarter of the anticipated global output. Given the excitement surrounding this truck, it appears it has a strong chance of achieving those figures, especially with all the aftermarket options becoming available.
Some of the official accessories for the Tasman will be made available by Kia.
