For hypercar enthusiasts, putting together this Aston could be an enjoyable way to spend the summer.
The Lego Technic model comprises 707 pieces and is finished in Podium Green.
This Valkyrie features gullwing doors and a compact V12 with moving pistons.
The track-oriented Valkyrie has also been incorporated into the Asphalt Legends Unite game.
Even if your ideal garage resembles a shelf filled with bricks rather than a climate-controlled space, there’s some good news: supercars are no longer just for billionaires; they’re also accessible to anyone who enjoys assembling plastic parts.
Aston Martin produced only 275 units of the Valkyrie, divided into 150 Coupes, 85 Spiders, and 40 track-exclusive AMR Pro versions. Each of these was accounted for before most people had even learned to correctly pronounce “Valkyrie.” However, if you're like us and want a piece of Valkyrie in your life, the next best option is coming soon: a Valkyrie model from Lego Technic.
Set to launch on August 1, the Lego Technic version of the Valkyrie consists of 707 pieces, which is quite fitting since Aston makes a model of the DBX called the 707. The set also showcases the same Podium Green color that Aston Martin uses for its full-scale models, accented with lime green details.
Remarkably, the Lego team has managed to capture some of the intricate elements of the Valkyrie’s design, including its complex aerodynamic features like the large rear diffuser and the aero tunnels running from the front wheels back. Similar to the Valkyrie Spider, it includes gullwing-style doors and is equipped with racing-inspired center-lock wheels.
The doors aren’t the only functional aspect of the model. It also features a steering wheel that controls the wheels and a replica of the Cosworth 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, complete with moving pistons.
Lego isn’t the only entity adding a Valkyrie to its lineup, as the hybrid hypercar has also been included in the Asphalt Legends Unite game, available on Android, iOS, Windows, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
While the real Valkyrie starts at around $3 million and can exceed $4 million with custom modifications, the Lego version is more budget-friendly. Priced at $64.99, the set will soon be obtainable through the Lego website.
“Our partnership with Lego Technic celebrates the extraordinary engineering and visionary ideas that brought Valkyrie to reality,” said Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s executive vice president and chief creative officer. “By integrating it into the Gameloft Asphalt Legends Unite platform, we’re not only preserving its legacy, but also introducing this exceptional machine to a fresh audience in an innovative way.”
