Waido is hinting at a widebody kit that features redesigned fascias and prominently flared arches for the Escalade IQ.

The electric Cadillac is set to receive an extended chin spoiler and striking forged carbon fiber details.

The Cadillac Escalade has never been known for subtlety, which is precisely why it remains successful in an era of increasingly muted SUV designs. It continues to be one of the boldest, eye-catching vehicles on American roads, popular with those who wish to stand out from multiple lanes away. This kind of flair inevitably attracts aftermarket interest, and one company is now stepping up to offer a fresh take on the all-electric Escalade IQ.

That company is Waido, a name recognized by enthusiasts of widebody kits and extravagant custom builds. This latest venture is teased through a series of intricate renderings, highlighting an extreme aesthetic transformation for Cadillac’s electric flagship.

Waido begins with a new front fascia that includes unique aerodynamic details and an extended chin spoiler. These modifications provide the Escalade IQ with a sharper, more aggressive appearance, well beyond what is available from the showroom. The new front design is complemented by flared wheel arches, adding some additional width to the SUV, which doesn’t necessarily require it. The rear arches have also been flared, and the Escalade is showcased on a set of aftermarket wheels.

At the back, the makeover features a new bumper design, a fresh lip spoiler, and a small diffuser. While no one expects a full-size electric SUV to gain track-ready downforce, the visual enhancements contribute to the overall appeal. Additionally, with a curb weight exceeding 9,000 pounds (4,082 kg), the Escalade IQ already exerts significant pressure on its tires without needing assistance from aerodynamic features.

Waido was among the first to present a widebody kit for the Tesla Cybertruck, starting at $9,990. There is currently no information on the pricing for the Escalade IQ setup, but considering the extensive use of forged carbon fiber in these renderings, it's unlikely to be budget-friendly.
