This charming Jimny comes equipped with a turbocharged 657 cc three-cylinder engine producing 63 hp and 66 lb-ft of torque.
The vehicle was brought into the U.S. in April 2022 and has been driven for 37,000 miles.
Its beige and white two-tone paint job adds to the Suzuki's appeal.
While Suzuki Jimnys are frequently seen in Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia, encountering one in the United States is quite unusual. This particular Jimny is a 1991 model, but don't underestimate it; this compact off-roader can probably navigate terrain that would challenge many contemporary 4x4s.
This right-hand drive 1991 Jimny Turbo arrived in the U.S. in April 2022, thanks to the 25-year import rule. A year later, it was sold on Bring a Trailer for $10,750, a price that seems reasonable considering its uniqueness and charm. The current owner is now looking to sell it and has posted it on Marketplace, initially asking for $21,000 but has since lowered the price to $19,500 at the time of writing.

Has the value of the Jimny truly doubled in the last two years? Likely not. We are skeptical that anyone will be interested at the reduced $19,500 price, particularly since it is a right-hand drive model. However, let’s be realistic: when selling a car privately, it’s often advisable to start at a higher price and gradually decrease it, rather than set a low starting price and regret it later.

As a 1991 Jimny Turbo, this compact Suzuki is powered by a turbocharged 657 cc inline-three-cylinder engine that generated a modest 63 hp and 66 lb-ft (89 Nm) of torque when it was new. Certainly, some of that power may have diminished over time, but it should still be adequate for a small 4×4 like this. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
An old listing indicates that the Jimny was originally white but has since been repainted in a beige color with a contrasting white roof, side skirts, and wheels. It has also been upgraded with a suspension lift, a large roof rack, and yellow driving lights.
