The Navara and Terra, which share mechanical components, have received aftermarket wheels, additional LEDs, and distinctive decals, but they are strictly one-off models.

Nissan has introduced 55th Anniversary editions of the Navara and Terra in the Philippines.

These versions showcase nostalgic decals and various off-road enhancements, including new wheels. However, these special anniversary models won't be available for purchase as they are exclusive one-offs.

Nissan is reportedly working on new Navara and Frontier models for the Latin American market, with another version intended for different regions. Meanwhile, its Philippine division has revealed a new build based on the current generation of the pickup. The Navara 55th Anniversary Edition was showcased at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, along with a similarly customized variant of the Terra SUV, which is mechanically related.

Unfortunately for enthusiasts, these vehicles will not be sold at dealerships. They are one-off concepts designed to celebrate 55 years of Nissan in the Philippine market. Both models feature a white finish complemented by dark trim details and a variety of aftermarket components, illustrating the potential for customization based on this platform's appearance.

Custom Styling with a Familiar Foundation

Starting with the Navara, it includes a rugged bumper extension finished in matte gray, highlighted with red accents. These design elements reflect the PRO-4X trim's aesthetic, complete with a corresponding skid plate and an updated grille. The front is also fitted with a pair of PIAA LED lights, enhancing visibility for nighttime driving.

The side view features retro-style 4×4 decals, giving the truck a nostalgic vibe in line with the current trend of off-road design. The notable enhancement is the polished aftermarket alloy wheels fitted with proper off-road tires, which give the aging platform a more purposeful appearance.

For the Terra SUV, the updates adopt a similar theme. The grille incorporates PIAA LEDs, while the side graphics are more understated. It features all-terrain tires mounted on black Black Rhino wheels. Inside, both vehicles are adorned with 55th Anniversary branding stitched into the headrests and badging on the tailgates to commemorate the milestone.

Aftermarket Enhancements, But No Power Modifications

Beneath the surface, there are no alterations. The Navara and Terra continue to use the familiar 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder engine, producing 187 hp (140 kW / 190 PS) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, distributed to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission and a conventional 4WD system. Nissan has not indicated any modifications to the suspension or chassis, suggesting the components remain stock.

The current Navara generation has been in existence since 2014, although it received a facelift in 2020. The Terra, a three-row SUV, debuted in 2018, with a mid-cycle refresh occurring three years later. While the Navara is set to receive a new generation soon, there is no news regarding a successor for the Terra.

Also on display at Nissan’s booth in Manila was the latest version of the Patrol, which is now available for ordering in the Philippines with specifications aligned with the global model.
