      Record-setting Bonneville race cars are typically designed for speed and aerodynamics, so why not tow one on a trailer that matches? A custom-built hauler is currently available for sale on Facebook.

      This gooseneck flatbed trailer, designed simply but thoughtfully, is being sold from Bennington, Nebraska, located just northwest of Omaha. The seller shared a listing earlier this month on Marketplace and within the Bonneville Salt Flats Land Speed Racing group.

      Featuring an air ride suspension with Fox shocks, the bed lowers flat to allow for easy drive-on/drive-off access. Alternatively, a winch can be used to pull the car up during loading. The trailer measures 26 feet in length and 5.5 feet in width, making it suitable for various land speed record contenders, especially since there is no strict limit on the exterior dimensions for Bonneville Salt Flats vehicles.

      This trailer serves more than just as a car hauler; it also has a multi-compartment storage area at the front. According to the seller, the lower compartment contains an air compressor, toolbox, mounts, and additional space for a TIG welder (not included). The upper compartment is home to a generator, and there’s also a large water reservoir located within the gooseneck. The seller mentioned that it was used to transport water for the intercooler of their race car (also not included).

      The trailer is finished in a dark graphite color and has an identification placard indicating it was manufactured in August 2017 by Predator Custom Trailers & Motorcoaches from nearby Papillion. The listed Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is 12,500 pounds.

      There is no information available regarding the number of previous owners or the mileage it has been used. Aside from some patina visible in a close-up of the suspension and wheels, the trailer appears to be in overall good condition. The current asking price is $20,000. Even if you’re not the quickest on the flats, at least you can arrive in style.
