      Ineos Automotive has increased the prices of the Grenadier and Quartermaster in response to Trump's tariffs. The price of the Grenadier has risen by 5%, now starting at $78,900, while the Quartermaster's price has jumped by 10% to begin at $92,900.

      The US market is crucial for Ineos, and their CEO has oddly criticized EU officials for not taking action.

      The repercussions of President Trump’s tariffs are intensifying, prompting automakers like Ineos Automotive to react. The company is facing significant charges, as both the Grenadier and Quartermaster are manufactured in Hambach, France.

      As a result, they are subjected to a 25% import tariff, leading to increased prices. Nevertheless, Ineos claims to be "shielding" customers from the full impact of these costs.

      What does this imply? The price of the Grenadier has seen a 5% increase, bringing it to a starting price of $78,900. This rise is relatively modest, especially in contrast to the Quartermaster pickup, which is facing an additional financial burden.

      As the company pointed out, this truck is already affected by the 25% chicken tax and now faces another 25% tariff. Consequently, Ineos has increased the Quartermaster price by 10%, now starting at $92,900.

      These price hikes are concerning for Ineos, as North America is their largest market, accounting for over 60% of their global sales. Instead of holding Trump accountable, the company has oddly directed blame toward the European Union.

      In a statement, Ineos Automotive CEO Lynn Calder stated, “Until EU politicians take action and reach an agreement with the US, we are doing what we can as a small competitive brand to protect our valued US customers from the tariff-induced price hikes.” This perspective is peculiar, but Ineos Group CEO Jim Ratcliffe is known for his Brexit stance, suggesting that Calder is reflecting an anti-EU sentiment.
