Inkas has introduced the first armor package for the 250-Series Land Cruiser available in the market.

The armor package is designed for “high-risk individuals” who drive the new Land Cruiser, offering protection against gunfire and grenade explosions for the entire passenger cell.

Additional features are also available, including reinforced bumpers and a siren.

With the Toyota Land Cruiser now back for sale in the US, it was only a matter of time before an aftermarket company created an armored variant of the new 250 series. That time has arrived with Inkas leading the charge. This Toronto-based company specializes in armor packages for various vehicles and has released one of the first hardened Land Cruisers on the market.

If you own a current Land Cruiser and require protection from outside dangers, this is the solution. Inkas claims their package is tailored for “high-risk individuals,” but it could also cater to law enforcement, corporate clients, and government officials.

The whole passenger cell of the Land Cruiser has been fortified to withstand rifle shots and grenades. Inkas has installed military-grade ballistic glass and an armored door overlap system to prevent ammunition from penetrating the seams of the door. An armored bulkhead partition increases safety, along with an armored enclosure for the fuel tank and run-flat tires.

Moreover, there are more customization options. Clients can opt for armor around the engine compartment, a fire suppression system, and even a rooftop escape hatch. For enhanced features, there are options like a night vision camera, a siren/PA system, LED strobe lights, heavy-duty wheels, reinforced bumpers, and an oxygen filtration system.

A significant advantage of Inkas’ new Land Cruiser is that it maintains the appearance of a standard Land Cruiser. This means owners can blend in rather than draw attention to themselves, which is beneficial when facing “external threats.”
