The auction house anticipates that the P1 will fetch a price between $1 million and $1.5 million.
This McLaren P1 has been part of a collection in the Middle East for the last ten years.
The hypercar from Woking has recorded only 130 km on the odometer.
The new McLaren W1 represents the company's latest high-end road car, with production limited to just 399 units globally. It's still uncertain if it will be held in the same esteem as the McLaren P1. After all, while the P1 was at the forefront of hypercar performance when it debuted in 2013, the W1 does not compete with the latest generation of electric performance vehicles.
In past instances, we’ve seen unique customer P1s, some featuring exposed carbon fiber bodies and bold paint jobs. A few were also done in matte finishes, and this specific P1 was made for a collector in Qatar, being the sole model in Satin Camo Green.
According to RM Sotheby’s, this exceptional hypercar is now available for sale, having remained with the original owner and clocking only 130 km (80 miles) on the odometer. Besides being one of the lowest-mileage P1s in existence, its exterior finish makes it particularly eye-catching. The green is complemented by various details in McLaren Orange, including badges, brake calipers, center caps, and P1 emblems.
These McLaren Orange details also extend inside the cabin, appearing on the seats, steering wheel, and dashboard, along with matching orange switches and abundant exposed carbon fiber.
The striking P1 has been on static display in the owner’s collection since its delivery. There has been no information released regarding any service history during this time or the current condition of the twin-turbo V8 and battery pack.
RM Sotheby’s believes this P1 will sell for between $1 million and $1.5 million. Unlike the Ferrari LaFerrari, the value of the P1 hasn’t greatly increased over the years, and given all the unique features this model has, it’s quite possible that the total cost for the owner exceeded $1.5 million.
