Dodge has lowered the prices on various trims of the Durango and Hornet throughout its lineup.

The Hornet now begins at $29,995, providing a discount of $1,590 for purchasers.

The Durango also experiences substantial price reductions, including a significant discount on the Hellcat model.

Stellantis had a peculiar obsession with high pricing, which contributed to a decline in sales. While Jeep is the main example of this pricing strategy, Dodge has not been immune. The company is now reversing this trend and cutting prices just as the U.S. economy faces a turbulent phase marked by mass layoffs and a global trade conflict.

Starting with the 2025 Durango, Dodge is reducing the price of the base GT model from $41,995 to $38,495, resulting in a $3,500 savings, which should make the 14-year-old SUV more attractive.

In addition to the base model, the Durango R/T is also receiving a substantial price reduction, lowering its cost from $54,890 to $49,995. That’s a discount of $4,895, and buyers can expect a familiar 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that delivers 360 hp (268 kW / 365 PS) and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) of torque.

Regarding V8 engines, the 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat will be priced at $84,995. This marks a significant reduction, as this model is currently offered only in Hammerhead, Silver Bullet, and Brass Monkey editions starting at $113,720, which means the entry price has been reduced by $28,725. However, with the 2024 Durango SRT Hellcat priced at an MSRP of $95,995, this represents a savings of $11,000 when comparing the same trims.

This is quite competitive considering that the model features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine generating 710 hp (529 kW / 720 PS) and 645 lb-ft (874 Nm) of torque. This enables the three-row SUV to reach 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, complete the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h).

The Dodge Hornet is also seeing a notable price reduction with its entry price dropping from $31,585 to $29,995. This aligns with the price of the Ford Bronco Sport, but Dodge emphasized that their crossover offers "the most horsepower in its segment" for under $30,000.

The Hornet GT is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 268 hp (200 kW / 272 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. It comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

Dodge did not mention any price changes for the Hornet R/T, so it will likely continue to start at $41,645. Nonetheless, the new pricing for the Durango and Hornet will take effect on March 6, excluding a $1,595 destination fee.
