Who doesn't appreciate flashlights? As I grow older, I find myself valuing good lighting in my workspace more and more. This is because the cone-shaped photoreceptors in our eyes, responsible for perceiving color and fine details, perform better in bright conditions. Alternatively, rods excel in dim lighting but lack precision. Fortunately, I've discovered a variety of work light and EDC flashlight deals that keep both my visual clarity and my budget satisfied in any environment.
Regular followers are aware that I've been testing some Coast products lately. I recently had the opportunity to try out the Coast KL35R Flashlight, the 1919 Reserve Shift Knife, and the Slayer Flashlight. I'm impressed by the quality and value Coast consistently provides. I have several more products to test, but for now, let's discuss the ongoing sales. I’ll begin with the XP18R, a rather large flashlight for EDC, unless you're equipped with pockets the size of Duncan Macleod's to accommodate this 10-inch, over 1-pound light. It's currently available for $69.99, a reduction of $50. This rechargeable flashlight features removable batteries, allowing you to use standard batteries if needed. It offers a slide focus and has four brightness levels ranging from 130 to 4,900 lumens.
If you're in need of something truly pocket-sized, the Coast Crew PX1 measures 4.5 inches and weighs about a quarter of a pound. It has two brightness settings, 125 or 565 lumens, and can last for 17 hours on the lower setting. It’s now priced at $24.99, down from $39.99. Finally, we have the multifunctional TXM50R work light from Coast. It can be used as a headlamp with the included strap, but when detached from the mount, it transforms into a pistol grip flashlight and is magnetic, allowing you to attach it under the hood or within a fender. Currently, it’s selling for $49.99, which is $10 off.
However, this post features more than just Coast products. Milwaukee has a 500-lumen rechargeable flashlight for $49.97, and if you're seeking a work light, the M18 powered Lantern that also functions as a USB charger is available for $69.00. I've also included a couple of Mag-Lites and even a classic 2 C-cell Xenon light priced at just $18. Additionally, the Fenix PD40R V2 is marked down to $120. This all-aluminum flashlight offers 3,000 lumens and is currently $54 less than the MSRP.
