Mercedes G-Class Golf Cart Features 20 HP, 4 Displays, and Priced Higher Than a Chevy Trax | Carscoops

This G-Class-inspired golf cart can reach speeds of 35 mph and has a range of 80 miles between charges.

In one month, a golf cart modeled after the Mercedes G-Class will be auctioned.

The four-door vehicle features recognizable styling along with a surprisingly advanced interior.

The Bodo G-Wagen reportedly has a new price tag of $21,900, which exceeds that of some street-legal cars.

Mercedes has recently announced plans for a budget-friendly “G-Class” that will be positioned below the standard model. However, if you are open to a few compromises, you can obtain a mini G-Class more swiftly.

This adorable model, called the Bodo G-Wagon / E-Wagon, closely resembles its namesake. The attention to detail is remarkable as the golf cart is instantly identifiable as a G-Class, complete with functioning lights, turn signals, and windshield wipers, as well as a spare tire holder and stylish two-tone wheels.

The interior may not match the luxury of the actual G-Class, but it is still quite impressive for a golf cart, featuring a digital instrument display and a small infotainment system. There’s also a basic dual-screen rear entertainment setup.

Aside from the screens, it includes power windows and locks, a heater, and air conditioning, along with a rearview camera and attractive metal accents.

While the G 580 with EQ Technology is equipped with a 122 kWh battery and a quad-motor all-wheel drive system generating 579 hp (432 kW / 587 PS), the Bodo G-Wagon relies on a 10 kWh battery and a 20 hp (15 kW / 20 PS) motor. This allows the cart to achieve a maximum speed of 35 mph (56 km/h) and a range of up to 80 miles (129 km) on a full charge.

This specific golf cart will be up for auction by Mecum on March 21, although one dealer has it listed for $21,900 brand new. While this price is higher than that of a new Chevrolet Trax, it’s a small investment to become the ultimate standout on the golf course.
