Faraday FX 6 Prototype Displays Familial Similarities in Recent Teasers | Carscoops

      The forthcoming crossover seems to take significant inspiration from the FF91.

      Faraday Future has hinted at the FX 6, with a potential reveal in March.

      This model is a stylish crossover that seems to resemble the $309,000 FF91.

      Prices are expected to start between $30,000 and $50,000, although Faraday has had an inconsistent history.

      After releasing a low-resolution teaser in January, Faraday Future has now shown a clearer glimpse of the FX 6. To be launched under their new Faraday X brand, this model is designed to follow the FF91 but aims to be significantly more affordable.

      While the company has been somewhat reserved regarding detailed specifications, the camouflaged prototypes feature a rounded front end and a sloping windscreen that transitions into an inclined roof. The design includes sleek bodywork and a rising beltline, resulting in a relatively compact greenhouse.

      The rear remains heavily obscured, yet the FX 6 showcases an angular rear window and what appears to be a roof-mounted spoiler. A mid-mounted spoiler is also visible lower down, along with a concave lower liftgate. Although it's difficult to predict the final design, it bears a resemblance to the Kia EV6.

      Faraday will provide additional information about the model in March, but the prototypes will go through further testing and validation in the United States to ensure the FX 6 meets their "high standards for performance, technology, and user experience." They noted that these tests would emphasize autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems.

      The FX 6 is expected to be priced between $30,000 and $50,000. Not much more is known about the model, but the company has suggested that it, along with other FX vehicles, may offer electric and range-extending powertrains. Production of the FX could commence later this year, although Faraday has previously stated that this is "dependent on securing necessary funding and agreements."
