The first unit of Mercedes’ exclusive SL63 Manufaktur Golden Coast has now reached the US.

Only 100 examples of the SL63 Golden Coast will be produced worldwide, featuring a premium price tag.

The unique Kalahari Gold Magno paint, inspired by golden sandy beaches, provides a distinctive appeal.

The newest model in Mercedes-AMG’s high-performance convertible range is here: the 2025 SL63 Manufaktur Golden Coast. This limited edition follows the SL63 Manufaktur Big Sur and arrives approximately 18 months after its predecessor. With a total production limited to 100 units globally, while U.S. pricing has not been disclosed, it is expected to be priced higher than the standard model.

Mercedes-Benz states that "radiant golden sand beaches" inspired the Manufaktur Kalahari Gold Magno finish on this special SL. This color is somewhat more understated than the Orange Flame Metallic used for the Big Sur edition and perfectly complements the elegant SL63. The exterior contrasts with a set of 21-inch AMG Forged Cross-Spoke wheels in black featuring matching Kalahari Gold Magno highlights.

The SL 63 Manufaktur Golden Coast comes equipped with many features that are typically optional. These include the AMG Night Package, AMG Extended Night Package, and the AMG Aerodynamics Package. Notable components of the vehicle, such as the grille, tailpipes, model badge, and rear Mercedes badge, are finished in black chrome.

      A Unique Interior

The interior also boasts special features, with numerous unique design elements incorporated. For instance, the AMG Performance seats are upholstered in hand-stitched black Nappa leather, complemented by golden stitching that extends across the steering wheel, armrest, center door panels, and instrument panel. The cabin also features various Kalahari Gold Magno details and a distinctive 'Manufaktur Golden Coast' badge on the center console.

Although this special edition SL does not originate from the flagship SL 63 S E Performance, its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine still produces a remarkable 577 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed transmission and a 4Matic+ fully variable all-wheel drive system, enabling the car to accelerate to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds.
