It's noted that only a few C6 Corvettes have been altered to achieve this look, yet the asking price appears overly ambitious.

This customized Chevy Corvette did not find a buyer at two auctions last year. The highest bid reached $63,475 on Cars & Bids in July 2024.

Even with the new body modifications, the 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine remains unchanged.

Would you really be inclined to pay more than $70,000 over the standard price for a C6-generation Chevy Corvette featuring an extravagant body kit that would fit right in on the set of a Fast and Furious movie?

That's the very proposition the seller of this particular vehicle is hoping to present, though we have doubts about its feasibility.

This extravagant Corvette is currently listed on Car Gurus for $94,991, nearly $70,000 above the typical price for a conventional C6, and is hardly recognizable as one.

Fitted with a distinctive Valarra body kit, it almost appears to be a completely new supercar built from scratch, although it still maintains its original 2008 underpinnings.

Based on the VIN, it appears to be the same car that went up for auction at Mecum Auctions in May 2024, where the bidding did not meet its undisclosed reserve. A few months later, we noted its reappearance on Cars & Bids, where it again failed to sell, with bids only reaching $63,475. Clearly, buyers are reluctant to invest significant money in this car, yet the current seller is asking close to six figures.

When we first encountered the car last year, it had approximately 77,500 miles on the clock. It now shows 79,245 miles. The exterior design is striking, though whether that is appealing or not depends on individual taste.

All of the original body panels of this C6 have been replaced. The front features an audacious bumper with an prominent splitter, large air intake openings, and narrow headlights.

Additionally, the Corvette now sits on aftermarket silver and black wheels, features new side panels with unique door skins, and has a notably bold rear end that prominently displays the rear tires. At the back, you’ll also find a towering wing and a large diffuser.

      What’s Underneath?

Despite its flamboyant exterior, it is believed that the naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine remains stock, delivering 430 hp and 424 lb-ft (575 Nm) of torque. While these figures may not be jaw-dropping today, they certainly provide enough power for an enjoyable ride.

If you have a penchant for outrageous styling and the budget to match, this may be a tempting option for your next questionable decision. Check out the listing here.

It is known that only a few C6 Corvettes have been modified to resemble that, but the price being asked appears to be overly optimistic.
