Most project vehicles and trucks created for the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas rarely make it beyond the exhibit hall. Automakers and aftermarket tuners often create concepts that excite the crowds but typically stop there. However, the Ford Maverick you see here might be an exception, as the Blue Oval manufacturer indicates plans to offer the so-called 300T package—or something akin to it—to customers in 2026.

This is quite impressive, considering it generates 300 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque thanks to a larger 59-millimeter turbo. Its appearance is understated yet attractive with 20x8-inch Mustang Mach E GT wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. While it's uncertain what features will be included in the 300T package when it becomes available, Ford’s press release notes that upgraded tires are advisable but not part of the package.

The model shown here has a unique 300T graphics package, complete with Ford Performance branding on the rear and on the fender vent. There hasn’t been any information on the pricing for the 300T package; however, to further confirm that Ford intends to market it to the public, the turbo upgrade has been designed to comply with all 50 states’ regulations. If it does become available to customers, it will carry a three-year/36,000-mile warranty, provided it is installed by a Ford dealer or an ASE-certified technician. It wouldn't be surprising if it retails for between $6,000 and $8,000, and while some have managed to exceed 300 hp with their Mavericks, I assume their warranty was voided long before they hit a dyno.
