Bentley has unveiled the Black Forest Regional Collection in Stuttgart, which features the Bentayga S Black Edition along with the Continental GT Speed and Continental GTC Speed. This special collection commemorates the 15th anniversary of Bentley Stuttgart.
Renowned for its extensive customization options through its Mulliner division, Bentley has produced the Black Forest Regional Collection to celebrate this milestone. Stuttgart, particularly the Zuffenhausen area, is known as the home of Porsche, which is also a member of the VW Group. However, these new Bentleys draw inspiration from the Black Forest, a mountainous region in Baden-Württemberg, southwest Germany.
The Black Forest Regional Collection includes the Bentayga S Black Edition, Continental GT Speed, and Continental GTC Speed, leaving the Flying Spur out. Each model has distinct specifications and unique materials, reflecting the "deep tones and rich textures" of the surrounding forest, according to Bentley.
A standout feature of these cars is the Scarab exterior color, which is paired with black elements and striking Pillar Box Red details on the lower body and mirror caps. The three models are equipped with different sets of 22-inch alloy wheels in black, complemented by red brake calipers.
Inside, the interiors are finished in black leather with contrasting stitching, while the dashboard showcases natural open-pore walnut veneer featuring etched leaves from the Black Forest on the passenger side. In addition, the seat embroidery displays Fern Green leaves and Pillar Box Red berries. Each model comes with a custom luggage set in Beluga color, accented with Pillar Box details and Black Forest Collection tags.
Mechanically, no changes have been made; the Bentayga S Black Edition retains its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, generating 572 bhp (404 kW / 550 PS), while the Continental GT and GTC Speed models are equipped with a plug-in hybrid V8, providing 771 hp (583 kW / 782 PS).
The Black Forest Regional Collection was showcased at an exclusive event attended by clients and guests. Bentley Stuttgart is seen as a "cornerstone" of the brand's operations in Germany, highlighting the choice of this location for the curated collection by Mulliner.
Bentley has yet to reveal pricing or production numbers for this collection, though its exclusivity is likely part of its allure.
