The company provides various programs aimed at extending the lifespan of its vehicles.
Lamborghini has launched a new extended warranty initiative that can last up to 10 years.
Current offerings include five years of maintenance and eight years of hybrid battery coverage.
Italian automobiles, especially high-performance ones, have traditionally been seen as stylish rather than entirely reliable. Nonetheless, Lamborghini aims to instill confidence in supercar owners that their vehicles will continue to run as elegantly as they appear.
To provide this reassurance, the automaker has introduced an extended warranty program valid for up to 10 years from the vehicle's initial registration, allowing owners to feel secure that Lamborghini will support them.
The company has also unveiled a range of new after-sales services and products focused on maintaining what it refers to as the “integrity, performance, and emotional power” of its vehicles.
The objective is to maintain each car as a “timeless piece of art,” intended to endure long after the odometer ceases to be the primary concern.
Currently, the Lamborghini Temerario, Revuelto, and Urus SE come with five years of scheduled maintenance. Furthermore, hybrid models are backed by an eight-year warranty for high-voltage batteries.
Owners seeking additional peace of mind can choose the 10-year Selezione Warranty Extension program. While Lamborghini has yet to reveal the cost of the extra coverage, it is unlikely to discourage many given the target market.
Even after a Lamborghini’s warranty expires, the brand possesses the capabilities and know-how to keep it operational for many years.
It has a dedicated division called Polo Storico focused on the conservation and restoration of its classic models. In addition, a Certification of Authenticity program is in place to safeguard the legacy of rare vehicles and boost their value.
“The Lamborghini After-Sales approach is comprehensive, ensuring each vehicle maintains its original features and performance over time, thus protecting – and even enhancing – its value,” said Giuliano Cassataro, Lamborghini's head of after-sales.
“Our mission is to offer extensive support to customers throughout their cars' entire life cycle. Through our programs, this journey is designed to be everlasting: from the very first day of ownership to when the vehicle is eligible for historical model certification.”
