Introducing the New VW T-Roc Ahead of Its Official Unveiling | Carscoops
Volkswagen's redesigned sub-compact crossover has been leaked, with a potential unveiling in Munich.
The updated Volkswagen T-Roc has seemingly been revealed by an Italian YouTube channel.
This model features an evolutionary design that is more refined, with a simplified interior.
It is anticipated that the crossover will utilize the MQB Evo platform and share engines with the Golf.
The second-generation Volkswagen T-Roc continues to leak information, with real-life images now surfacing on social media. These reveal a fashionable new crossover with an evolutionary design that looks noticeably more upscale.
At the front, the vehicle showcases a Golf-style appearance, featuring slender headlights linked by a thin illuminated strip. Below that, there is a prominent intake accented with thick honeycomb mesh and boomerang-shaped details.
Further back, the model displays sleek bodywork with understated cladding. While cladding can still be seen around the wheel arches, it is much less pronounced in this version.
Additionally, there is a contrasting black roof along with matching A-pillars. These elements are complemented by wheels designed for aerodynamics and a more elegant C-pillar. Accents include silver roof rails and a metallic trim that extends down the rear pillar.
The rear end is almost vertical, featuring a sleek light bar reminiscent of newer models like the Tiguan and Taos, paired with a streamlined bumper that does not have exhaust cutouts.
Although only a few glimpses of the interior are available, it appears more modern and minimalist. The driver will find themselves behind an upgraded steering wheel and will see a freestanding digital instrument cluster. To the right, there is a significantly larger infotainment system akin to that of the ID.Buzz and ID.7.
The T-Roc is expected to make its debut at the Munich Motor Show, built on the MQB Evo platform, making it closely related to the latest Golf, with a shared range of powertrains. Complete details on the model are expected to be revealed next month.
