The off-road-capable Liberra RV is built on a MAN 4×4 chassis and equipped with a turbodiesel six-cylinder engine producing 286 hp.
The interior includes a plush dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and sleeping accommodations for up to four people.
Pricing begins at €580,000 ($662K), making it one of the priciest off-road vehicles available.
Do you remember the Torsus Praetorian from a few years back? This remarkable off-road bus has now been transformed into a luxurious RV. For those who prefer to journey across whole continents rather than just visiting countries, this may be the perfect home away from home.
Referred to as the Liberra, it shares the same fundamental design as the Praetorian, but instead of focusing on mining operations and disaster relief, it prioritizes luxury and comfort.
A significant improvement is the installation of a taller roof, providing an impressive 2.2 meters of headroom in the cabin. Torsus has collaborated with Germany’s Dämmler (not to be confused with Daimler) to elevate the cabin to high overlanding standards.

Located behind the driver and front passenger seats are two additional seats and a spacious dining area featuring two brown leather-clad bench seats. Torsus has equipped the RV with an oven, a four-burner stove, a large refrigerator, ample counter space, and a sink. At the back, there are two single beds that can be converted into a double. There's also a compact bathroom containing a shower and toilet.
A Cabin That Feels Like Home
Typically, overland vehicles are fitted with cheap, unattractive interiors that might leave you yearning for a hotel, or even a budget motel. However, the Liberra's cabin appears quite luxurious and boasts high-quality wooden cabinetry.
Appropriately, buyers can choose from a wide array of personalization options to make their Torsus unique. The overlander comes standard with underfloor heating, a rooftop air conditioner, and has a capacity for 250 liters of fresh water.
Continuing to support the Liberra is the MAN 4×4 chassis, just like the Praetorian. It also features a 6.9-liter MAN turbodiesel six-cylinder engine generating 286 hp and 849 lb-ft (1,151 Nm) of torque, paired with a 12-speed transmission.
If this sounds like the ideal overlander for you, it’s time to start saving. Prices begin at a staggering €580,000 ($662,000), enough to purchase a lovely house. Yet, a house always remains in the same place, which might be a bit dull for some, right?
