Plano police apprehended a group accused of stealing luxury vehicles valued at $1.5 million.

The recovered cars included a Rolls-Royce, Audi, Maserati, and various other high-end models.

Security cameras documented the dramatic moment officers conducted the raid.

While stealing any vehicle is illegal, the severity of the crime can vary. Taking a Honda Civic might allow a thief to escape unnoticed, but stealing a Rolls-Royce attracts significant attention from law enforcement. If multiple luxury cars are taken, police will intensify their efforts to apprehend the perpetrator. This scenario unfolded in Plano, Texas.

In early June, officers were dispatched to a restaurant following a report of a stolen Rolls-Royce. This was not an outdated model, but a 2024 Spectre valued at nearly $500,000. Authorities indicated that an individual managed to take the keys from a valet and drive away with the vehicle, intensifying scrutiny on the suspects.

Police traced the suspect who took the Spectre to a 2025 Mercedes S63 AMG, which they suspected might also be stolen. Less than a week later, with the assistance of the FBI, Plano police executed search warrants at two locations. They recovered a Rolls-Royce Spectre, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a Cadillac Escalade-V, a Maserati Levante, and an Audi RS7. Together, these vehicles are estimated to be worth $1.5 million.

During this operation, officers arrested three men: Miguel Hernandez, Salvador Hernandez, and Oscar Valdez Garcia. All are charged with theft exceeding $300,000. According to Fox 4 News, Valdez Garcia had 15 active felony warrants and faces additional charges for evading arrest, aggravated assault, and burglary of a habitation.

“It was the result of excellent investigative work, strong collaboration, and piecing together information from various agencies, leading to the recovery of five vehicles and simultaneous arrests,” stated Jerry Minton, Public Information Officer for the Plano Police Department.

A security camera at the residence of the alleged thieves captured the moment officers made their move, showing the arrest of Salvador Hernandez in what resembled a military operation. At present, it is unclear what the suspects intended to do with the cars, but officers will undoubtedly aim to return them to their rightful owners.
