The performance flagship may soon be accompanied by revamped sedans and crossovers.

A recent report is providing insight into Acura's upcoming plans, which reportedly includes a new NSX.

Company representatives have previously indicated that the electric sports car might be launched in 2027 or 2028.

By the conclusion of the decade, Acura’s lineup is expected to undergo significant refreshment and redesign.

Earlier this year, Acura showcased an RSX prototype and confirmed that a facelifted Integra was in the planning stages. Current information suggests that the brand’s long-term strategy includes a new NSX.

Acura has been alluding to a new NSX for several years, particularly after introducing the Electric Vision Design Study during Monterey Car Week in 2023. About a year later, Honda's then global executive vice president affirmed plans for a new sports car expected in 2027 or 2028, stating, "We may not refer to it as an NSX, but it’s akin to an NSX-type vehicle."

Although details about the vehicle have been sparse since then, GlobalData is reporting that it is still in the works, anticipated to utilize the 0 Series platform. This dedicated electric vehicle architecture is expected to support various upcoming models, including the Honda 0 SUV and 0 Saloon.

In addition to the electric supercar, a refreshed ZDX is expected to debut in 2027, potentially succeeded by an entirely new model developed and manufactured in-house.

Focusing on crossovers, the redesigned MDX is reportedly set to launch in the second half of 2027 and enter production by early 2028. A new RDX might be introduced in 2027, receive a facelift in 2030, and phase out by 2033. This model is expected to use the Honda HA platform and feature a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine along with a hybrid option.

The year 2027 may also see the introduction of a new TLX, which will compete against the redesigned Lexus ES, though details about it remain limited at this time.

Regarding sedans, a successor to the Integra could be released in mid-2028 as a 2029 model. This new iteration may not come as a surprise, since the current model finished 2024 as Acura's third best-selling vehicle in the U.S.

Finally, the latest addition to the lineup is the ADX. GlobalData indicates that production might shift to the United States, but this largely depends on the outcome of tariff negotiations. Regardless, a facelifted version is anticipated in 2028, while a redesigned crossover is expected for the 2031 model year with both electric and internal combustion engine options.
