      In an unusual incident, a man named Weiner was arrested after running naked across a highway.

      It seems he crashed a stolen vehicle and then removed his clothes while escaping.

      He faces multiple charges, including indecent exposure, reckless conduct, and littering.

      Although April Fools’ Day is still a few weeks away, the New Hampshire State Police likely felt they were the target of a prank, given the absurdity of a naked man named Weiner.

      The strange events took place last Sunday at approximately 3:15 PM when troopers received calls about a “man disrupting traffic on Route 16 in Dover.” Witnesses reported seeing a naked man walking or running along the highway.

      Troopers were sent to the scene and quickly located the naked man, who was later identified as 35-year-old Shawn P. Weiner Sr. from Somersworth.

      An investigation revealed that Weiner had been involved in a crash with a stolen vehicle. He reportedly fled the scene on foot and then chose to shed his clothes before crossing the highway.

      It remains unclear why he decided to go out without clothing, but considering the high temperature was only 43° F (6.1° C) that day, it was likely quite cold for Weiner. Regardless, he was taken to a nearby hospital to treat injuries sustained in the accident.

      Weiner is now facing a series of charges, including “indecent exposure and lewdness, reckless conduct, two counts of disorderly conduct, and littering.” Additionally, there are further charges related to the crash, and the theft of the vehicle is still under investigation.
