      Models influenced by off-road themes have seen popularity among consumers, not only in the truck and SUV segments. In fact, several rugged sports cars have emerged in recent years, such as the Porsche 911 Dakar and Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato.

      German aftermarket company Loder1899 is now presenting another option, a modified Shelby GT350. Drawing inspiration from the car in The Thomas Crown Affair remake, this concept features a higher ride height and distinctive wheels fitted with substantial BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, along with rounded fender flares and auxiliary lights.

      Additionally, the open-top pony car is equipped with Recaro seats, a roll bar, and a uniquely designed rear deck lid that holds a spare tire secured by leather straps.

      Although classified as a concept vehicle, Maximilian Loder indicated to Top Gear, “We are confident that this concept vehicle will excite enthusiasts. If the response is positive, we will bring it into production.”

      While Loder did not disclose performance details, the 2025 Shelby GT350 is known to have a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS). Buyers also have the option of a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, boosting the output to 810 hp (604 kW / 821 PS). This engine can be combined with either automatic or manual transmissions, with a total production limit of 526 units. The starting price for the supercharged model is $109,999, inclusive of the vehicle cost.

      For potential production, it is conceivable that Loder might base the model on the Mustang Dark Horse. If this occurs, customers could receive a 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 418 lb-ft (566 Nm) of torque.
