Harris initially wasn’t keen on the Valkyrie when he first drove it, but he now finds it impressive.

This Valkyrie Spider is the first to be delivered in the United States and looks stunning.

There’s no better way to experience the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 than with the roof down.

As if the Aston Martin Valkyrie wasn’t already extraordinary, the British brand decided to introduce a Spider version a couple of years ago, and customer deliveries are now in full swing. The first unit to arrive in the United States has been making the rounds on social media recently, and Chris Harris has had the opportunity to test it out—on the road, no less.

This specific Valkyrie Spider belongs to a collector known as Supercar Ron on social media and was originally ordered by real estate magnate and automotive enthusiast Manny Khoshbin. However, he chose not to take delivery and sold it to another well-known US collector. Luckily, the new owner is thrilled to drive it on the streets and frequently attends Cars and Coffee events.

Everyone's favorite automotive journalist had the opportunity to drive this Adrian Newey-designed hypercar through urban streets and scenic desert roads, and he has given it high praise. This isn’t the first time Harris has piloted a Valkyrie.

He first drove a Coupe a couple of years ago in Bahrain but wasn't particularly impressed. He now claims that this Valkyrie Spider is far superior to that initial model, providing unexpected comfort and remarkable performance, making it a joy to drive on the road. Unsurprisingly, Harris is astonished by the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated Cosworth V12 and says that the convertible offers an even more enhanced driving experience compared to the Coupe.

Aston Martin produced only 85 units of the Valkyrie Spider, with prices beginning around the $4 million mark. While that is an exorbitant amount to spend on a road car, nothing else quite compares to the Valkyrie on four wheels.
