The new special edition Wrangler enhances the Unlimited Sahara with a winter-themed design, featuring retro white wheels, winter graphics, and some Easter eggs.

Jeep has unveiled the Wrangler Snow Trace special edition exclusively in Japan.

This model includes decals, white side mirrors, and retro wheels complemented by silver caps.

Production will be limited to just 150 units, priced at ¥9,090,000, which is approximately $58,000.

The Jeep Wrangler continues to adhere to its approach of minor aesthetic modifications and region-specific trims to maintain its appeal. In the US, this translates to the Whitecap edition, a snowy seasonal update adorned with white accents, while Japan receives the Wrangler Snow Trace, featuring similar concepts but different graphics.

This exclusive Japanese version is based on the mid-tier Wrangler Unlimited Sahara trim, adding a variety of visual elements designed to evoke a sense of "snow activities." The highlight is a pair of retro-style white 2-Way wheels, which can be complemented with silver center caps featuring a silhouette of Willys Jeep.

The Snow Trace design was created in collaboration with Jeep’s US design team, heavily influenced by winter sports themes. Blue and light blue decals adorn the hood, showcasing the classic Jeep grille and logo. This graphic theme extends to the fenders, where silhouettes of skiers and snowboarders navigating alpine slopes can be seen.

White-painted mirror caps display the Jeep emblem, whereas the spare tire cover depicts a Wrangler parked against a mountainous backdrop. Two subtle Easter eggs, featuring the outlines of a Yeti and the original Willys Jeep, are located on the left rear window.

Equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the Wrangler Snow Trace delivers 269 hp (200 kW / 272 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, which is the sole engine option for Japan. Like the Sahara, it includes the Selectrack Full-Time 4×4 System as standard, instead of the more advanced Rock-Trak 4×4 found in the flagship Rubicon.

Jeep will manufacture only 150 units of the Snow Trace edition for the Japanese market. The starting price is ¥9,090,000 (approximately $58,000 at current exchange rates), making it ¥500,000 ($3,200) pricier than the standard Sahara trim and matching the price of the high-end Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.

Individuals who take the Wrangler Snow Trace for a test drive will receive a complimentary beanie or neck warmer, while purchasers will be gifted a special blanket crafted by Jeep in collaboration with K2, the renowned American ski and snowboard company.
