This Ferrari Has Been Turned Over So Many Times Within a Year That It’s Beginning to Appear Dubious | Carscoops
This frequently traded SF90 XX Stradale has been changing hands repeatedly without any apparent reason.
Just hours ago, it was reported that the 2024 SF90 XX Stradale has had four different owners in less than a year.
Despite the rapid ownership changes, there are no signs of damage or title issues associated with it. Recently, it was sold for the fifth time for $1.7 million through an auction site.
A Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale changing owners quickly isn’t surprising. These high-value, limited-production hypercars attract attention and are often treated like commodities by speculators. Influencers lucky enough to acquire one typically keep it only long enough to create content.
However, this specific SF90 stands out; it has exchanged hands so many times within a year that it’s difficult not to be intrigued.
The hypercar has gone through four different owners before a fifth acquired it recently, all within less than 15 months.
First registered in October 2024, this SF90 has traveled through Montana, California, and Florida, and has been displayed at multiple exotic car dealerships along its journey. With 1,800 miles on the odometer, it appears that some of its previous owners actually used it rather than just parking it for show.
It boasts a clean CARFAX report, indicating no accidents, damage, title issues, or odometer discrepancies. Still, the multiple ownership changes are amusing to note.
It initially appeared in Whitefish, Montana, in October 2024, classified as a commercial vehicle for about two weeks. A second owner from Montana acquired it, kept it for less than two months, and then took it to Ferrari of San Diego for servicing.
By January 2025, a third owner re-registered it in Montana, seemingly the one who drove it the most, which is commendable.
In July, this owner sent the vehicle back to San Diego for service and by September, it was up for sale again in Murrieta. Two months later, it ended up in Florida at Carrio Motor Cars. On November 20, the fourth owner registered it in Miami Beach but sold it just 18 days later.
Now, this exotic Ferrari, equipped with a hybrid 4.0-liter V8 engine combined with three electric motors producing a total of 1,016 hp, is on its way to a fifth owner after fetching $1,700,000 prior to fees on Bring a Trailer.
The SF90 XX does come with a window sticker revealing an original MSRP of $981,147 after options and fees, but excluding taxes, suggesting it could be a worthwhile long-term investment. It is hoped that the new owner will drive and enjoy it until they eventually decide to sell it.
