Project Viva reinterprets the 750S Spider with a paint scheme inspired by Las Vegas.
Current F1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri contributed to the design.
McLaren will showcase the vehicle at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel for the upcoming week.
Introducing Project Viva by MSO, a custom McLaren 750S Spider revealed in anticipation of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, capturing the allure of Sin City. To envision this special model, picture the familiar 750S, then imagine it adorned with a burst of colors and intricate details.
Mechanically, this supercar maintains the specifications of a typical 750S, but its unique paint job, described by McLaren as a sketch in motion, distinguishes it from the rest of the lineup.

The paint features a combination of Muriwai White and a newly developed shade called Vegas Lights. This black coloration is infused with flecks of cyan, magenta, and green, specially crafted for this car to reflect the shimmering lights of Las Vegas. An intricate array of hand-painted elements adds layers of allusions to both the city and the brand.
What’s Concealed in the Paint?
For instance, Project Viva features a pair of dice honoring 1905, the year Las Vegas was established, and 1963, the year McLaren was founded. Additionally, ten stars on the rear bumper commemorate the company’s ten Formula 1 constructors’ titles, which were applied by current F1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
McLaren has also included an illustration of the Muriwai Trophy earned by Bruce McLaren at the Muriwai Hill Climb in New Zealand. A representation of Bruce McLaren’s racing helmet from 1970 is integrated into the more intricate areas of the design, along with a series of neon arrows referencing Las Vegas signage.
A Vegas Tribute in Small Details
McLaren Special Operations’ meticulous attention to detail is evident elsewhere as well. Beneath the rear wing, there is a sign reading Fabulous, inspired by the city’s iconic welcome sign, an outline of Nevada on the right side, and a cactus motif incorporated into the surrounding artwork.
The automaker did not disclose the time taken to apply the custom paint to this 750S Spider, but it likely took several weeks to complete.
Those in Las Vegas can admire the car at the McLaren Experience Center located in the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel from November 13-20.
“Project Viva embodies what McLaren Special Operations represents – going beyond conventional boundaries to create something genuinely personal,” stated MSO director Jonathan Simms.
“It’s where craftsmanship meets personality, and where any source of inspiration can transform into a narrative conveyed through design. Each commission we undertake is a blend of vision and expertise, resulting in a vehicle that authentically represents its underlying inspiration. Whether originating from brand storytelling or a client’s passion, MSO exists to convert ideas into something unique and impactful.”
